Objective: Testing AmpliPhyt™ MA effect on yield and quality versus competitor product 2.5L/ha (Kelp)
Trial area: 4 replications , total area 400m2
Application Rate/Timing: 2.5L/ha , commenced 10 days after planting and then every 7 days after.
Grower observed spinach leaves in the AmpliPhyt™ treated area appeared more upright allowing for more efficient and cleaner harvest.
Increased yield of packed spinach resulted in an additional $3000/ha gross margin after deducting the cost of the AmpliPhyt™ MA.
AmpliPhyt MA 2.5L/ha. Yield: 13500 kg/ha
Difference: 8 % greater yield generating $3000 extra gross margin
