AlgaEnergy once again participated in Macfrut in Rimini, one of the most important international trade fairs in the sector, a B2B event for professionals and opinion leaders from over 90 countries, which closed successfully on 9 September. It was the first face-to-face exhibition of Agri-Business in Italy, registering almost 40,000 attendees after two years of the pandemic.
Giuseppe Castellani, Country Manager of AlgaEnergy Italia has highlighted the importance of the event: “Macfrut is important because of the relevance and impact that this event has in our country. The participation of AlgaEnergy has recorded encouraging numbers despite the crisis resulting from the pandemic, as biostimulants and microalgae set new growth benchmarks in Italy”.
AlgaEnergy participated at the “Biosolutions Hall”, an area in the central section of the event dedicated to Biosolutions, biocontrol, biostimulants and crop nutrition. AlgaEnergy hosted approximately 2,000 visitors during the three day event, holding meetings and building networks and relationships in the industry.
As a silver sponsor, the biotech company participated in the technical forums as speaker, restricted to thirty people including technicians, researchers and companies in the sector. These technical sessions have been focused on new trends in the Agribusiness. AlgaEnergy presented advanced technologies and solutions that microalgae introduce and consolidate in the agronomic practices of farmers who use them. AlgaEnergy received great interest from the participants regarding the microalgae production technologies and the effectiveness of its biostimulants.
